ESSO TESCO CHESTERFIELD EXPRESS

What I particularly like about this petrol station is that you dont have to worry about which side you use as they have extra long hoses to reach round to the far side of your vehicle. The thing that annoys me most is when you are waiting for a pump to become available and the person in front of you goes in to pay and then decides to do their weekly shopping which leaves you sat behind them waiting for them to pay and leave so you can fill up! 😡😡
Has air and water machine which is useful although not free. I HATE paying for air 🤷‍♀️😩🤣🤣

We’ll, it’s a petrol station, so you know what to expect. Unfortunately as it’s a Tesco Esso, you can’t use the Esso app to authorise and pay for your fuel, but the staff were friendly.

The thing that does snap crackle and pop my rice crispys is the inconsiderate users of the pumps who think doing their weekly shopping at the garage is a normal thing to do. Leaving people waiting and lines forming. They show enforce a rule. If you got your fuel… don’t be a fool… move the the side…

Lovely little petrol station and Tesco Express. Used a few times when in Chesterfield as seems to be the cheapest around. Very well managed and staff are always friendly. Only slight niggle is the forecourt is quite small and it does get VERY busy due to fuel generally being cheaper than anywhere else, which can sometimes make it difficult to get in...and it's on a busy main road. It also doesn't help when you get customers who do their shopping, which in turns causes traffic chaos as they take ages. To be fair none of this is Tesco/Esso's fault. The place is well run and they deserve to be popular.

Could do with a separate till for fuel. If I'm in a hurry, it's frustrating waiting for someone to pay for a basket load of shopping.

Don't park at pump then do food shopping.avoid Ruch hour as mayhem to get on or off forecourt in fact don't even bother going here it's that bad

It's a petrol station!, just as expensive as all the rest at the moment.

Great little tesco, friendly staff always willing to help, petrol tends to be a good price too.
