This petrol station has been here many years...

They pretty much have everything you'd need for your pit stop, they partner with the retail-store company SPAR which has your standard setup from refreshments, lotto to your other bits.

They have a car wash section if that's what you needed too.

The staff have always been nice, never had any problems.

All in all, it does the job.

Really really terrible petrol staion with a terrible policy and staff that are not competent to handle problems or issues.

We filled fuel here 2 weeks ago. This is one of those places you need to pre-pay at the till.

So we decided that we needed full tank, paid for 40 but the tank needed only 20.

They said money would be credited back to the card. We said ok.

Fast forward 2 weeks later, no money reversal on the card.

So we called them, they said oh, we can't pay you back, come get money in cash from the station.

We said ok, we went last night. The staff was really difficult, it took us all of 30 min and 2 people to firstly explain the whole dam situation and then after to convince them that we are not scamming them off the 20 quid that they OWED us.

They refused to call the person who supposedly spoke to us at 10 in the evening to sort the matter out. Refused to give the change. Refused to acknowledge that the problem is with their policy. Refused to look at our proof of purchase or credit card statement.

By the time they finally agreed to pay the balance I think we were already spent more amount of time and effort and money to get it back.

I can't believe we had to ruin our time, money, and mental peace to get what was owed to us.

If I ever see a Texaco in my life I don't think I would ever stop by just because this one staff has ruined it for me.

Costa machines barely have anything in them. E5 petrol is extortionate, 25p per litre more than E10 unleaded. What daylight robbery!
