Stopped for fuel and they were operating from the window only as it was gone 11pm. Cashier had a sign up that read "back in ten minutes" - but he was at the till and completely ignored us.

He was counting his float so I get he was busy, but we stood right outside his window for about a minute and he ignored us the entire time. Wouldn't have hurt him to just acknowledge us and ask us to wait. Manners cost nothing.

We decided to get back in the car and try somewhere else.

At shell the staff are very friendly and are willing to help. There is a lot of space for parking and the petrol is at mostly a very good price. The petrol station also features a shop where you can buy many essentials and travel food.

The shell garages in our area seem to have attracted all of the staff that smile and know how to say hello. So it's always nice to pop in here. The downside is that everything is is at least 20% more expensive than the nearest supermarket with frankly isn't all that far away.

Staff are rude and unhelpful bunch. I also found their petrols are more expensive than other shell garages. Staff always park their own cars that blocked others to get in where the spaces are so tight already.

All though this service station is shell branded, this is being managed by another company. Well managed and excellently run. Staff members are very friendly. During my visit one of the staff members carrying an elderly person’s shopping to her car.

We hardly see these type of service else where.

An extraordinarily dispiriting experience at the service station this week. Full of cars just sitting at the pump, one woman just standing outside eating an ice cream whilst cars queued up behind her car at the pump, and the man in the work van in front of me sat on the phone for ages whilst he could see me blocking traffic behind me as I waited to pull in. Staff were utterly dismissive and disinterested when this was pointed out. Will never patronise again.

Good to know diesel was still available yesterday evening, small queues and friendly staff. All helpful in this hour of need, despite the frenzied panic buying. Persons on the forecourt all helping each other too.

E10 is available here but no V5 for sometime. Price has gone up badly. Buying E10 at previous V5 price but E10 is suboptimal. Shell doesnt care about the loyal customer. I asked the counter many times but typical answer "dont know, no supply", dorsnt help. Unsure if this crisis is artificial to raise the peice.
