ESSO MFG Woodbridge Hill

Just visited this petrol station as I was in the area and I needed to get some fuel.
Put some fuel in my car at todays expensive price but that seems to be the case wherever you go these days.
Whilst paying for my fuel I noticed that the shop seemed to be well stocked but I did not have a closer look.
The person who served me did not seem too happy to be serving customers on that particular day.

Shop staff unhelpful. Today tried to drop off a Yodel parcel to be told they had too many so wouldn't take it.. Previously tried to use a voucher for a paper and told they didn't take vouchers. Never experienced either of these at any other shop, ever.

One of the few forecourts in the area that actually seem genuinely pleased to see you. Gentleman behind the counter even said hello. Most similar businesses in the area can barely interrupt their telephone call to grunt and take your money!

Having walked some distance (couple of miles) to drop off 2 parcels for collection by Yodel the person behind the counter told me to return the next day. I ask for a reason and was given none. When I stood my ground and asked again, I was humiliated by the replies. This included language such as ‘baby’ and my words being mimicked backed. A queue had formed behind, and the person proceeded to ignore me and started to serve the other customers. This left me feeling totally humiliated and embarrassed in front of the other customers.
It wasn’t until a lady customer stepped in and challenged this behaviour my parcels were eventually taken and scanned in. I was given no reason as to why I had been initially refused service and what suddenly changed when someone much older than me challenged this.

The whole experience left me feeling really upset and took me some time to stop crying. I don’t feel I should be subject to being treated in a way which humiliates when all I wished for was to use an advertised service. Nowhere do it state 23 yr olds cannot access this facility during certain opening hours.

The biggest fraud I have ever seen. They put up the advert of car wash club, get the 4th wash free. You get 3 washes and as soon as you go to ask for the 4th, they will bring up unknown terms and conditions to do anything to not give you the 4th wash for free. They accuse you of picking up other's receipts from the bin when they know that you have paid for it. The chap called Ayuran, thinks himself to be oversmart and causes most of the problems. I would never visit there, might as well visit Shell for fuel which is 1.5 miles away and for carwash go to good old IMO.

I wish there was the option to give 0 star. This place is a disgrace and the staff is very rude and disrespectful. At 2 occasions I went to drop off a collect plus parcel and they refused to take them on both occasions every time citing an excuse more ridiculous than the other. If they are so bothered doing collect plus then they should stop doing and receiving the money for it. I will avoid this place like the plague for dropping parcel and you should to.

Absolutely disgusted at the service I received today. I was dropping a yodel parcel this morning and the man behind the till was just so rude. He said he’s not taking parcels. So I questioned this politely asking why, and he said because the yodel delivery wasn’t picked up for 5 days. Baring in mind it has been Christmas holidays. I wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning.
