Tesco Petrol Station

What a fantastic petrol station this is. I find it hard to review a Petrol Station so here goes, tongue in cheek. It was February, the country was being lashed by wintry storms, but here, at Tesco Petrol, it was warm and balmy, the staff were outside on sun beds, supping Champagne. Every one was happy and smiling, over the value in Tesco a spit away, and the value fuel. The BBQ was sizzling, sea food, huge steaks, and copious amounts of refreshing drinks . What a super time we all had. Good on Tesco. I love 'em.

This is a really really lovely petrol station, you can pay at the pump or buy at the kiosk. Very low numbers of people about in the evenings on Sunday makes it a perfect fill up spot for those shielding or keeping a strict lockdown

Waited in the queue patiently to be greeted with a small sign at the very pump entrance stating no diesel. When the lady who was helping people left I shouted a suggestion to the other blonde lady staff member (who was standing about doing nothing) that they should move the diesel sign to the entrance so people can see it. Her response was to tell me “oh shut up”. Now my suggestion was calm and light hearted and there is definitely no need to tell a customer to shut up. I am leaving this as I can’t get through to customer services as I wanted to tell them that they need to move the sign as then people who need diesel won’t clog up the fuel queue. Disgraceful.

like all stations very expensive and also only had there plus unleaded so even more expensive then usal

Bad news for motorists in need of fuel - Petrol station is being refurb'd (Oct '22) but the sign advertising fuel prices is still lit. Fortunately had enough to get me to Morrisons where I filled up and did all my shopping. Very annoyed.

I used the fuel assistance app and after 2 attempts off staff not picking up the phone they finally answered and when they come out and I said my card doesn't always work in the pay at pump they got bit moody. Unfortunately, this isn't the 1st time I have had issues with this station. So overall I'm not too impressed with them.

We must keep chugging. Chugging along. Restrictions lifted, diesel shifted and clubcard points gifted. Now as we chuggalugalong down the A11 with smiles in our hearts and methane in our farts, our experience at the Ipswich Road Tesco Petrol station still rings in our ears and whistles in the wind. Pay at the pump or get a thump is the mantra of my dear father. We chug on.
