Ascona Green Garage Service Station and Ascona Fish Bar

Been going to this fish and chip shop for a while whilst we are down on holiday. I have always found the staff friendly but tonight was served by a young man who had only been there a week whose customer service topped the usual staff members . Also the fish and chips was the best so far to date. Looking forward to coming down to the caravan again soon .

Purchased a battered sausage and chips tonight. Neither were edible. If you intend to sell food which has been held for such a long time please inform the customer or sell for a reduction to reflect. Had I been told of this and had an informed choice to continue with my purchase I would not leave such a negative review. If Ur open late serve fresh food till late

Sorry unable to reply to owners. No it was not brought up to staff as we brought it home to then find it inedible. Both the sausage and chips. Sorry this is not a good review but I feel it was not acceptable to sell.
Have returned following this review and manager stating they would rectify. Food was very nice and feel it is only fair to update my review. I am grateful that the managers listen and act. Thank you and wish u all the best moving forward 👍

Ordered through the the app and stated the delivery time. Arrived as requested only to be told the food hadn’t been prepared. Some of the items were unavailable and received a refund for these. Told it would take 10 mins to be prepared and it is currently 40 mins since I was told this and I am still waiting. A Number people have since asked for food and have been served immediately however my order was further delayed as they had no chips!

This review was over 4 years ago. A lot has changed since then and the place is looking so much better.

Got fuel, Not overpriced like some places.
A little shop inside with all your basics and ever friendly staff. And a good selection of comics for when I am going past on my way to visit the grandsons. Good little place

Not here right now. It was flattened and is being made into an all singing all dancing shiny new garage. I do hope it doesn't lose what gave it its appeal.

They charge £1 to put air in your tires, in response to the comment below, at the time Tesco garage were charging 50p and the garage in Kilgety is free Merry Christmas

Fish Bar was truly disgusting. Was excited for the new fish bar to open and for Pembroke to get some new business. Just spent £17 supporting local business to have the worse food ever. The fish was cold and my dads chicken burger smelt of perfume he eats anything but wouldn't eat that. So disappointed for the community. Cannot comment on garage or launderette as did not use.

Great staff. Have iceblast that's a 10/10. Yet to try the fish bar so can't give it a 5star review until I know what it's like. But the new revamp has braught it to the next level just a shame it not 24/7
