Upmarket gated housing estate in Woodford Bridge on the site of the old Claybury Asylum. Many of the old Victorian hospital buildings have been retained and coverted into residential units.

Visited with a friend's referral. The best and high quality gym seen so far. Starting from the reception staff who were very friendly and welcoming. The lobby area is well sized and with great ambient feel. Moving on with the changing area is spectacular as seen in the photos. The gym floor is also well spaced out with high quality exercise equipment. The swimming pool reminded me of medival church feel to it and incorporated well.

Had a great relaxing time here in the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room! Just a shame the female lifeguard didn't approve of images being taken.. would've definitely been a 5* otherwise !

Beautiful place. Grew up on the ground as my parents work at the hospital when I was young. Now it's exclusive, clean, well kept. Security are helpful and polite.
