My wives mother is in the hospital and the staff have been amazing and could not do enough for us. Such lovely staff.
Would have given it 5 stars but thought the customer cafe was well over priced with below standard food.

A trip to A&E today and I cannot thank the staff enough. My wife was in a lot of pain and discomfort but quickly seen to with a lot of care. Yes we were on a trolley outside majors for a couple of hours but that is not the fault of the staff. A HCA was very attentive with tea, coffee and sandwiches.

Thank you to all the staff. The only issue is parking. I had to drop my wife off outside then go and find a parking space whilst leaving her too it. Not ideal and older car park was better. If parking was better it would be 5*

Went in for total hip replacement, was treated very well and staff on ward 9 were very preasant and attentive.
Problems I have are now my operated leg is at least 10mm longer than the other, and my wash bag and Calvin Klein pajamas did not make it from theatre to my bed, meaning I was robbed of my belongings whilst unconscious. So if your going here for an operation don't take anything worth stealing. I have asked multiple times over the last two days and my items can not be found.
As for my leg length I was told by the surgeons understudy that things will level up when I have the other hip done, while the physio told me it is because I have been realignment???

Today I had a phone call to confirm my items had been found and we're ready for collection, 3 days later.

I had to call an ambulance for my husband on the 29/12/2022.
We were on a corridor altogether for 10 hours.I have to say the care we were given by every member of staff we came into contact with was exceptional. Everything was very very well organised in spite of the fact to me it looked overwhelmed.
Again i have to say we were very well looked after. Also tea, sandwiches, warm food offered regularly by lovely staff. My husband was given X-ray, CT scan, blood tests etc. Yes he had a fracture but was given every care. Thank you to all staff xx

The maternity services at Leighton are excellent and I can’t fault the staff or thank them enough for my experience. The pre-natal care is thorough and efficient: you get seen quickly with very little waiting time, plus it’s so easy to get through on the phone whenever you need to. They’re always there to help and advise and made me feel so much more confident and well-looked after. My care in labour was also outstanding, as was post-natal care. It’s a very personal experience and you feel very well cared for at all times. Thank you.

Disgraced by the amount of hypochondriacs that the triage service let in! Mainly OAP's with just needing slight care from family and clogging up the NHS for current hard working taxpayers. Go private or not to a far better hospital that fixes you! Its very organized unfortunately because many of the staff are amazing but extremely badly managed. Id never go again until massive improvements are made. I've had to go private now and spend tens of thousands.

My partner was taken to A&E by ambulance staff at around 5.30pm for an injury to his spine which turned out to be a slipped disc at risk of cauda equina. He was in the corridor for hours. The corridors were full of patients. We could overhear a woman being sick constantly. Then he was seen by the nurse at 9pm then told the wait would be 7 hours. We were seen by a doctor at midnight. The doctor was great and knowledgeable and arranged an MRI scan thanks to him my partner had the operation he needed. But being in a corridor all the beds lined next to each other was horrible. There were multiple people being sick and wasn't hygienic. We could hear people screaming and moaning in pain. The nurse around the night time kept skipping my partner and didn't check his blood pressure every hour as she should have. In the morning he had low blood pressure. This should have been monitored. The morning nurses and staff were lovely. He was quickly moved to Salford hospital. The staff did the best they could in the circumstances and they moved quick so that was great. If they had more beds and staff it would be a better service but I imagine this isn't there fault. Some of the CDU staff were not friendly and didnt acknowledge me when i tried to ask for help for my partner which wasn't very nice. But mainly the staff were friendly and jolly despite their distressing work conditions.
