I attended Accident and Emergency with my elderly mother, who had a head injury after a fall. We arrived at around 4pm on a weekday and parked the car without having to search for a space. We then went to A&E Reception and were told to sit and wait. After a short wait, we were called in to see the nurse, who bandaged my mother's head and we were sent back out to the waiting area. We then had a longer wait and saw the doctor, who gave my mother stitches and recommended saline solution, to reduce chance of infection. All in all, we were at the hospital for just over 2 hours, which in this day and age, is excellent and all the staff were wonderful and very friendly, in what must be, a stressful environment.

Very bad experience, waiting 9 hours in emergency room on Sunday with no many people compare with some hospitals I've been, with swallow knee in agony and doctors told me after 9 hours waiting is there another 8 patients in front of you. Food machines not working properly, floor was descusting. I just hope never happen nothing serious in this town or all that people will be attending one week after.

Disgusting level of care. To the point there was none. Admitted to a&e in RGH where they did their utmost to investigate and ease the pain I was in. Had to go to PCH this morning as a transfer and the triage nurse was rude and shut the door in my partners face. Not a single member of staff offered anything that even resembled concern. I had to tell the gynaecologist what had happened and the results of my CT scan as he couldn’t even be bothered to look at it. Diagnosed something I am completely asymptomatic of and when I queried this and stated what me and the surgeon in RGH had discussed you could see a lightbulb turn on.

Joke of a hospital. The whole place needs knocking down along with the majority of the staff.

I understand times are hard and the NHS is on its knees but being a decent human being costs nothing and can improve patient wellbeing completely. Couldn’t even name and shake the nurses or dr as they couldn’t even be bothered to introduce themselves.

Disgusting level of care.

Fantastic clinical staff, they were brilliant when I turned up with a nasty head wound and slightly in shock. Excellent triage nurses, same for the doctor who assessed me, the radiography staff were lovely and fantastic treatment from MaxFac.

I’m ignoring from my review the total time I was in hospital - this is the NHS after all.

My husband Spent 13hours in A&E still hadn't seen a doctor, he had a nose bleed which doesn't sound important but he is on blood thinners after a heart attack, he was bleeding for over an hour, they told us he was a priority. His nose stopped bleeding for a little while then started again still unable to see a doctor. We have had great treatment at Morriston hospital couldn't fault them, but would not recommend this hospital. We couldn't get any information from the receptionist, no one came to give any updates on how long it would be. A bit of courtesy wouldn't go amiss, just keeping people informed would be a great improvement. I know hospitals are stretched and the staff work really hard but there was only one doctor in A&E that night.

Been referred to Prince Charles Hospital from the clinic which took up to a year for a scan. When I arrived they didn't know where anything is, was meant to be in maternity but took me to the other side of the building. Receptionist lied in front of me to other nurses saying that I showed her a completely different letter. (Only had one obviously)

A & E, 24 hour friendly and polite staff who care, are kind and considerate with outstanding professionalism. Bus services running and also taxis from there if needed. Lots of adjustments have been made and ongoing work to improve the hospital. If you telephone and book in advance for any concerns there is little waiting time.
