Was led to believe the surgery had turned over a new leaf but seems to have lasted for only a short time.
Fobbed off with on line appointment who’s list didn’t have my symptoms down. Have to think that surely a quick check or knowledge of what’s covered by the staff would have helped ? Of course next call told can only ring at 8am next day. Shambles. Once you see someone all seem nice but admin is all over the place.

Two official complaints in against this practice already. One of which was a GP laughing at my partner when she was requesting stronger medication due to her long term disability. These complaints were launched 3 months ago with absolutely no effort to respond. The practice manager never seems to be in either, which is suspicious. There is a competent doctor working here and the medical students on placements here always seem polite and helpful too, but the barriers this surgery puts up to access healthcare are beyond awful. I believe this surgery was involved in a scandal recently (I'd implore you to research this embezzlement yourself), which obviously isn't good either. There are several rude staff members here, but they're quick to hide behind the glass screened office when confronted regarding their rudeness and incompetence.

For anyone wishing to complain, write to the practice manager so you can escalate your complaint to the CQC and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman or Local Government Authorities to investigate this practice further. The "good" rating on CQC needs further investigation too, which I'm in the process of.

To anyone who reads this, please take your complaints further. The practice cannot hide behind ignorance forever. There are policies here not being followed and any investigator worth their salt would rip this place apart.

Called in the Surgery to make an appointment in person, told all over the counter appointments have gone, but if you use the NHS app there are appointments available? Went on the app it said no appointments available, then back into the surgery to tell them, they said it must be the NHS app I am using that has a problem as there screen showed appointment's available, I asked if they could book me one of those appointments, ho no can only be done online,if all over the counter and telephone appointments have been used we can't use the appointments reserved for the app they can only be done online, if this was a comedy show you could laugh, but this is serious it's people's health and possibly life threatening.

Fantastic experience, registered online three months ago, the following day my records were all transferred and I received a text to arrange a health check, easy and efficient communication making the appointment. Very friendly, professional and thorough from the reception through to the nurse and GP. I've spent time living in France, where it's almost impossible to register with a GP and everything takes forever and costs a fortune. Very grateful to be back in the UK and appreciative of the brilliant NHS

I saw a doctor yesterday who was amazing. He gave me a thorough examination and spent a long time chatting to me. I waited a long time but he really cared about his patients and gave them all time. Also, the receptionist was very sympathetic and explained there was a long wait so I went for a walk and came back in half an hour. I would rather wait than be pushed out the door when your time is up.

Excellent service husband had yearly chest xray surgery rang with results .I had blood test got results within 3days and appointment on 3rd day spoke with a lovley practice nurse can honestly say never had a problem with the surgery practice reception staff always been polite and very helpful thank you to all doctors and staff.

Avoid this practice if you can , tried to call but got put in a que of 25 so went down to the practice and got to talk straight to the RUDE woman on front desk who had a go at diagnosing my problem (Hand swelling) and offered an appointment in 2 weeks time at a completely different surgery 5 miles away !!! , I swiftly told them to forget it and walked out to go else where!! Thanks for your help briercliffe surgery!!....AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!

Just made an appointment for thr first time in ages. The phone was answered very quickly. I spoke to a lovely member of the reception staff over the phone, who was very helpful. Thankyou.
