I am exceptionally impressed by the efficiency of this GP surgery! The receptionists are always friendly, the phone is answered quickly and I have been able to book phone appointments with the GP very promptly indeed. Their continuity of care is also great- mostly I have dealt with the same GP - Dr Begg who is lovely. I have never known a GP surgery like this! Highly recommend.

I have been chasing the GP everyday to write the prescription advised by the hospital consultant. I have phoned and been in person to the GP and each time I am told it will be done that day. Here I am after 1 week sat in the GP just waiting for the GP to have time between patients to write it as I need it urgently for my daughters epilepsy. Honestly this GP is incompetent. I have lost all patience to be kind. Seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

Had two encounters with the surgery so far. Have both been incredible. With the amount of pressure the system is under. They got back to me in a decent time frame and were really helpful and efficient. Happy I joined this surgery!

It was a good GP before the pandemic ends but now, it is not. There's no appointments available even if you have any urgent thing. Blood tests queues are infinite. They are so busy that they forgot to test my urine sample during 2 days and send it to the lab....

I dont think I have ever received confirmation of the appointment? As you recently cancelled my flu vaccination providing no reason / possibility to rebook and I got no confirmation that the vaccines were available I did not attend.

I tried your lines several times and I couldnt get through to an operator. If you had sent me confirmation of the appointment in any way I would have attended (no email, text or mention of it on the app), but since you didnt and the reception team mentioned to wait for it I avoided attending the clinic to avoid any disappointment. Very sad that the nurse is so busy that the next available appointment would have been in more than a month time.

I am very frustrated by the disservice provided once again by the practice and the team. Also, the manager yesterday mentioned she would have spoken with the information officer and asked him to respond straight away to my request sent in several months ago in order to get access to my personal data, but, surprise surprise, I havent received any emails from him either.

This practice service has deteriorated dramatically since I have joined last year.

One final point, I would appreciate if in your replies you wouldnt include information about my treatments / experiences because it's personal information being divulged.

Dr Beeg has been looking after myself for almost a decade. However, the recent visit has not been as good as I remembered.

Receptionists has always been too busy to have a conversation with patients regard short or long sentences. I am fully understand that we are all under the pressure of one thing or another, however, the face of Dr Begg has completely changed, and not very good either. The staff behind the counter appear to have beautiful smiles and conversations amount all seniors and junior member of the staff, but all change when discuss all issues with the patients on the other side of the screen.

I am not writing to cause any issue, but I want my friendly GP environment back. Many thanks

I feel truly blessed to be in the care of the Begg practice. They are a caring, considerate and conscientious practice that are transparent and kind to its patients. They have always gone above and beyond in sending me for blood tests and referrals as and when the need occurs and taken the time to diagnose and treat any issues me or my family have had. I feel I am so lucky to be able to request the same doctor so I have consistency of care. I think this makes an enormous difference.

I have a number of occasions where they have simply been amazing in assuring me and putting together the right treatment plan, urgently and last minute when required.

I think the NHS is stressed, we all read and know that and so I believe its up to the community to work with our NHS, to support our doctors, by being reliable, kind and working with any new practice policy's that are in place. The Begg practice has invested so much in its online booking system, and patient portal, and emails- which does feel sometimes like bit more work to get to know and get too to trust it. BUT us all following these new procedures allows more time for the doctors to be seeing us and for the whole process to run more efficiently. And when you use them they are fantastic I feel really empowered by managing and taking care of my own health and feel I have a partnership with my doctor and we work together to make the best decisions for the health of myself and growing family.

I can't think of a better practice esp knowing the pressure they are under. I see a very hardworking, very modern and forwarding thinking approach and how much they care. I thoroughly recommend the Begg practice

I have always found this practice to be very helpful. Front staff are always very courteous and professional. Dr Solomon Begg is an excellent doctor. I have never had any problems getting an appointment. Compared to the surgeries my family go to I think I'm very lucky to be a patient at this surgery .
