Streatham Park Surgery

The receptionist at this park surgery is the worst. You call at 8.30 wait 10 minutes for the phone call to go through and when it finally does she hangs up. Call again 20 times until the phone call is finally answered and then you get rudeness and obviously a person who is miserable at her job. Made an appointment at certain time and when i showed up she said the appointment was 3 hours earlier after she repeated the appointment time twice and I repeated it to her. I think this receptionist shouldn't be allowed to play with people's times. Miserable person, rude, awful, absolutely awful.

I have had nothing but support from this surgery. I am surprised at the other reviews. The online booking system is fantastic, and reception are always so nice to me. I am a regular due to my condition and I don't have a bad word to say really. Dr Hussain is lovely, I feel so supported by her.

A friendly service. I never struggle to get an appointment and I’m never kept waiting.

This surgery makes me never want to move out of this area.. fabulous staff amazing doctors.. I never want to change.. lovely cosy friendly surgery!

What's the point in having a phone if they never answer it? Been on hold for 45 minutes, been caller number in the queue from when I first rang up.

Dr Hussein wasn’t very helpful, I was diagnosed with tonsillitis (over the phone) and asked to send her a picture of my tonsils, with great difficulty I managed to send one, but she told me I was getting a delayed prescription of antibiotics and I wouldn’t be able to pick it up at the chemist until 2 days later, that logic makes no sense to me. I told her that I needed them now and she was basically making me suffer for another 2 days unnecessary. She didn’t listen to my concerns and said if my symptoms get worse to call back for another appointment, the last thing you want to do when you’re already ill, especially after being on hold for 15 mins. No wonder people don’t bother going to the doctor any more if this is the ‘treatment’ you get.

Dr Ghurfor is the only doctor worth seeing in this place.

Reception staff are brilliant. Their is some work to do to get the practice to where it was. After addressing these issues to head of practice. I am convinced things will improve. So happy to edit my previous comments.
