Having been discharged from a psychiatric hospital, I was assured I could get from my Gp a referral letter for a C T Scan of my nose to be told that due to radiation and that it’s because of the way I am feeling at the moment I was refused! I have been feeling anxious for the past four years and I had to contact the hospital I was discharged from for assistance! Firstly I have never had a ct scan of the head before and after my research there is hardly anything to it. Your doctors don’t know what your talking about. No empathy or understanding why it is needed and secondly I was asking for the NHS to pay for it! Please don’t call me to discuss as I tried to be reasonable and understanding so you can now live with this review!

Used to be good and they used to listen to you and advise. Now you feel just like a number. Told to do peak flows for 2 weeks and the dr will discuss with you on a follow up call. Haha didn't even want to listen to me just wanted to prescribe medication for anxiety. Told me I could still use a nasal spray morning and night that gives me nose bleeds. Absolutely useless actually contemplating changing surgeries but looking at all surgeries the reviews are just as bad. What happened to drs who actually cared about their patients 🤔.
I have been suffering with vertigo for many years and I keep getting told to use a nasal spray. Seriously the pharmacist up the road is more helpful than these doctors at greystone.

It used to be great, so much so that I always thought if I move home I will always stay with my GP because doctors were great. Sadly it has gone down hill and only getting worse since 2021, trying to get an appointment with your GP is like asking for unicorn tears, phone lines are busy and when you do manage to speak to reception they ask you to go online and request a telephone app with one of their nurses or triage team. Dr Joe McGilligan was the best doctor I have ever been treated by sadly it is not known if or when he will return to the clinic. Other great doctors have left and have been replaced by THE TRIAGE team which are absolute useless and to them you are nothing more than a number to call in the day to tick a box. I have nothing positive to say and I am looking to change surgeries or even go private because it is that bad!!

Greystone Surgery offer a first class service. I’ve always been offered an appointment with a doctor or triage nurse.
Staff are a committed and professional bunch, who work with kindness and care.
I would never consider leaving the practice. Why would I??
GSS is by far the best in the area!!

I really dont know what has gone on at greystones recently.. always been such a great surgery up until recent months.. the triage system... why is it still even in place..Is it really working??
My personal experience along with my childrens hasnt been great lately
Can you really diagnose by a picture?
Is it even possible to see the same doctor twice or your own doctor.. I dont think ive ever met mine face to face even and I cant recall even knowing who is my childrens named doctor even is?

I totally understand the world has been left in chaos following on from covid and now what with strep/scarlet fever doctors and nurses are under so much pressure!!

Been with them for around 6 months and still not been able to get an appointment think it's time to find another drs as my mental health is playing up and they don't seem to care
Update: I tried to commit suicide and I told them this when I finally got a phone appointment. so been by my phone waiting for the 8:35am phone call. it's now 11am and still not heard anything from them
These are useless worse surgery I've been registered at

Customer service at reception was not friendly and when you get to a nurse they don’t know what they are doing. My partner has been coughing and taking loads of medication so she went to this GP and they said nothing can do when clearly she sounded chesty and was unwell for days having severe sore throat.

Only ever had good experiences at Greystone House. I don’t need to go often but when I do I can normally speak to a doctor the same day or the next day, they get me in within a week normally if they need to see me. The doctors are friendly and I always feel like they give me a lot of time and really listen to me.

I really like the online system for arranging appts or call backs too

Honestly I can’t fault it.
