Jay's General Store

They are only some scammers putted there to make money 💰 🤑 and nothing else.
I was few days ago with my 5 years old son ,and he grab a small toy for 2.49. Obviously I didn't check that toy if have all parts or not 🤣 I think so nobody does. 🤔
I arrived home and the toy wasn't working and also have a small part that covers the battery's missing.
I go back to the store to change with another toy 👨‍🔧🚗🚗 .. Guessing a refund was useless of 2.49🤣 And the owner tells me he Can't change my toy ,because is missing I don't know what part . So I left from there with no toy for my son or a refund of 2 pounds.
I hope you will play with that toy💩

I usually don't leave feedbacks but Honestly I would give a minus 9 if I could absolutely appalling.
Very disrespectful very chaotic in the shop. They always serve based on favoritism rather than first come first serve.
I usually come here, and tolerate the chaos in silence, for I get anxiety going in, I don't talk unless it's to use manners I just buy and get out as quickly as possible.
Today a lady clearly walked in straight to the front despite many of us waiting and the owner served her. I kindly said, excuse me it's not fair we've all been waiting a while, others around me were complaining and moaning. But for some reason I was specifically targeted I don't know if it because I spoke up He then made others go in front of me. For pointing this out.
When it was my turn the owner suddenly had an issues with me stating he wasn't serving me no reason at all. Claimed the paypoint machine wasn't working despite me witnessing someone else top up before me. I had to call paypoint who previously told me to go to Jay's. They spoke to the owner and SUDDENLY GUESS WHO'S MACHINE WORKS? Yes theirs

Very interesting shop that has something of everything. I am glad I found it.

Such a lovely place to purchase groceries. For Nigerians, you can also get Indomie noodles, cray fish,stock fish,palm oil and plantain. It felt so great being able to get all of these things and cooking them the way I make it back home. Jay's General Store is an awesome place with friendly workers willing to assist.

MOLDY MAGNERS. I did not know this was possible but bought a can of Magners today that had MOLD all over the top where you are supposed to drink. Absolutely disgusting! To top it off I bought some ketchup and noticed it was expired when I got home. Gross store.

Good product but service horrible . Especially the bold old mam. Super rude . Store not organized.
