Walnut Tree Stores

A great little hidden out of the way gem. The Walnut Tree Stores has a shop out front and a fantastic tea room out the back. With outdoors seating and parking this little gem serves a good selection of hot drinks and cake. Fantastic friendly staff and surrounded by fantastic scenery this is a great little stop for walkers, cyclists, riders and anybody enjoying a drive in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Store has all the necessities, food at the Cafe is delicious, Peter and Charlotte are friendly and gave great service. Thank you, we will be back!

Excellent delivery service to llangattock, portions and ingredients they use are great on there full English breakfasts! Yet to try there fish and chips which i heard they was very good, will be trying soon! *****

The breakfast was quality. Definitely fuelled us for the rest of today’s Beacons way walk. I like the ambience and attention to detail.

Brilliant place, called today for food, although it was fish and chips Friday, because my wife and I are gluten free they instantly offered us an assortment of gluten free options, we both had chicken curry and it was delicious, beautiful tender chicken, beautiful flavour, the staff are brilliant and very attentive, there is disabled blue badge car park around the back close to the seating, the toilets are large and spotlessly clean. I have already told all my family and friends. We'll worth a visit.

Great local store and sub Post Office. Sells a surprisingly wide range of newspapers and stationery, staple foods, household goods, fresh and local produce, as well as ready meals cooked on the spot, kimchi, black garlic and kefir. Also has a small, but very good, licensed cafe with parking out back. Friendly, helpful staff. A real gem for the local community.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal at the walnut tree. Their salted caramel cheesecake is to die for. Very friendly and helpful staff, don't miss it.
