The Old Post Office

One just simply has to sample the Kendal mint cake ice cream. A quaint wee shop to refuel after a day on the fells.

I desperately needed a sharpie and called in hoping to buy one. The very nice gentleman behind the counter searched the whole shop to try to help me but the only one he could find was in his own pen pot. This very kind man let me have his and wouldn’t take a penny. I was so grateful that I bought something else to cover it.
