I submitted a campaign for my coworkers new baby. I raised a great deal of money and have been unable to retrieve the funds. For weeks now, I have called and emailed with no response from anyone. I have tried contacting PayPal which was not of any help. It has been embarrassing for me at work. I was just trying to do something nice for a coworker. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. You will never see your money.

Used it for 3 separate peoples leaving gifts. 3 times they were late putting money back in my account. I was hundreds of pounds out of pocket and had to chase them up for weeks to try and get it back.

Very tricky to get the money from them once you've fundraised. We raised £1000 through their page in January - it's now March and they still have the money! Avoid at all costs - they are either disorganised or dishonest - either way, getting the money from the company is proving extremely difficult!

Unfortunately reporting the same experience as below. A work colleague raised some funds through this website and then has been unable to access them. She contacted Shareagift two days ago who said they would call her back and have not.

Like a lot of others I have not been able to get money pledged to my Shareagift page, which in my case means my wife won't get her 40th birthday present from her friends.

Extremely stressful experience, it took us months of worry and hassle get our money released back to us. I do not believe this business is operating legally.

I raised £500 and haven't been able to receive the funds. I would recommend collecting the money in your own bank account instead.
