Cute store. Good selection of gifts. Best thing about store is the gentleman in the back and his hand carved love spoons. Plus they have the world's largest Welsh love spoon on display as well.

Lovely traditional Welsh shop, this place has been opposite the Cardiff Castle for 40 years plus and offers great service with a wide range of Welsh products. Bob the owner runs a great business with plenty of products on display. Excellent quality products and very fair prices, best Welsh shop in Cardiff.

Obvious shop for tourists to go to since it is across from the castle...but, it has something never seen before the worlds largest, and by a mile, love spoon!!! Also the owners are very nice people and are very knoweldgable. Store is large and has quite a food selection of gifts, but in the back is a section devoted to Lovespoons. Seriously go for the spoon, its crazy what crafts and traditions are lost throughout the years.

Standard tourist trap store. With good selection of typical Welsh items mixed with a strange mix of stuff unique to London...

Shop was clean, uncluttered and well spaced for the most part.

This shop is lovely, with local trinkets and gifts. I especially loved the locally made silver jewelry.

I was there in August. I loved so many things there & bought bunches 💗 I am crazy about dragons !! I got a tote bag w/ a Welsh dragon on it ,a notebook ( the last one ? ) w/ a print of Welsh flag on it ,magnets ,t - shirt w/ a Welsh dragon on it, a very light shoulder bag with a Welsh dragon print. Two heart shaped key chains w/ a print of a Welsh dragon on each. ( the same thing )They were real light ,so I picked those !! Besides ,very cute !! I hate heavy key chains ,they easily add more weights on my heavy purses !! Lol.The man worked there ( I believe he was the owner ,or manager ) was very friendly. I asked him if they shipped their goods to overseas. Oh ! I've bought a box of Welsh tea there,too !! It was delicious !!( I drank it at others ,hotels,cafes ,etc ) I recently opened mine & I am still drinking it everyday here in L.A.!! I really wish if I could have a slice of Bara brith with my cuppa of Welsh tea here in L.A. !!! I highly recommend this gift shop !! I watched videos on YouTube before I headed there !

I ordered 2 Cardiff/Wales baseball caps for me and my daughter both originally from Wales it currently living in Worcestershire. Excellent quality merchandise and a very reasonable price. Unfortunately when my parcel arrived a few days later there was only one cap inside. I was so disappointed or should I say my daughter was disappointed lol. I immediately rang the store and spoke with Charlotte the M.D and explained the situation. She was very apologetic and assured me she would rectify the matter ASAP but due to it being only 4 days before Xmas day she couldn’t promise anything. Well, 24 hrs later the second cap arrived by special delivery along with a lovely bar of chocolate. So to sum up. If you want top class customer service and good quality merchandise look no further than Castle Welsh Crafts. Thanks again Charlotte you are a star.

Generally I skip souvenir shops but I need to buy postcards. And I find this one lovely!

The traditional Celtic music playing in the shop makes a significant distinction from other souvenir shops.
And the products are surprisingly reasonable for a store in front of Cardiff Castle the landmark of the capital.
When I walk to the room decorated with love spoons, the staff actively hands me a laminated paper to tell the meaning of different symbols.

The shopping experience is good. This store deserve a visit after the castle.
