Feel like the staff could be more friendly say hello when you walk in .went in last year and yesterday with my children who are grown up not little children . my daughter went in to purchase something for her new flat and the staff did it last time. they didnt speak but seem to keep messing and tatting with shelves and things watching us. My children and myself have always been careful not to break anything and do not pick things up for the sake of. So why they instist on doing this is not good customer service making customer uneasy in the shop instead of a nice shopping experince . I went round one way to look at something and when i came round the corner one of the staff was leaning over the counter to see what my daughter was doing ..i didnt say anything . But did feel like asking what the womans problem was! .. been visiting the shop years .they always put your purchases in gift bags it was a lovely touch especially if buying a gift for someone else but they dont do that anymore ... If i brought a ormament from there now .i wouldnt think i brought that from that lovely little gift shop in new castle emlyn ..I'd be thinking it from that shop where the staff are unfriendly and follow you round making you feel un welcome so id rather not buy anything thats why i didnt tell my daughter before she brought something for her flat that they were watching her . do think the way staff are and treat you in a shop is so important. I used to tell people about the shop to visit but not anymore .. such a shame dont think we will bother going again

Wonderful range of gifts to suit all budgets. I wanted gift wrap that is recyclable. They had some and so pretty. Also the fresh flowers ,which I purchase on a regular basis are very good quality and last so long. Always very helpful.
