Beautiful shop, knowledgeable and friendly staff, selling a brilliant collection of gifts and household items, all Fair Trade and all (as the name suggests) Fabulous. The shop staff are also fine sources of knowledge about what is happening in Newcastle Emlyn Town. Active community contributors!

This is a wonderful shop with real quality items and at a reasonable price. The management of the shop do truly believe in the fair trade principle and source their materials from all over the world. Useful and beautiful objects and a total lack of the tacky here. A really friendly shop too and browsing fine and no pressure to buy. I got a beautiful (and well made/strong) basket which I use for wood, but there is a great variety of stuff there. Go visit!

I can't help but be very fond of this small business.
It is run with incontrovertible passion. There is a price to pay when dealing with fairtrade produce. The conglomerates have the resources to stack high and sell cheap. They take the humanity out of all things mercantile, in my opinion.
This shop has impressed me. So, it's expensive. So what? I have explained a rudimentary component of the cost issue vis a vis mass production.
The proprietor of the shop is erudite and true to her own ethical beliefs without hypocrisy it appears.
There are some unique and beautiful products for sale. Often made to very good specifications in developing economies.
Pricey, some may say, still, the fact remains that the more who make the ethical switch, the more likely that prices will improve.
I would recommend that you visit Fair and Fabulous when in the vicinity. I am pleased with my experience.
