Enjoyable golf course ⛳ great facilities. Tees, Fairways and greens in great condition.
Make sure your tee shots are straight! 😂 Recommend to all level of golfers.

Staff couldn't do enough for my daughter's wedding rooms were clean . When my grandson lost his bear late at night all staff looked for him. One member of staff who kept her cool whilst dealing with a very rude customer . Went out her way to make the stay there a pleasure . If you are looking for a wedding venue please check this place out

First off , easy to find on satnav and good parking. The hotel itself is clean and modern and the rooms clean and bright with a comfortable bed , the bathroom was spacious and all in all very happy with that. The staff are great being friendly and engaging making that effort to make your stay a good one. A special shout out to Phil and Brian in the golf pro shop , stars of the show - great advice on both courses and most helpful - a credit to the club.
Onto the courses , first day was the Sapphire. A short course but my god designed by a sadistic golfer. Narrow fairways with strategically placed trees , pin positions around a corner and well placed sand traps. This really makes you think and try and plan a shot and although my playing partner and I are high(ish) handicappers we thouroughly enjoyed it.
Onto the Emerald course the next morning with it's wider fairways and open greens but !!!!! beware thinking you can just take a yahoo shot , slopes and dips ebverywhere and those blind shots leaving you awkward lies and trouble. But again , if you just enjoy playing and don't get frustrated It's great fun.The rough is brutal and you will not find a stray ball on either course.
Excellent value for money in my opinion although the bar prices are a little steep and the food is average and a bit overpriced. Breakfast was good though.
Would I go and stay again , yesy I would but I'd take my own wine !!

Visited Hill Valley golf club this past weekend to play the Emerald course.
Overall the course was in pretty good condition, with firm fairways and fast greens. There were a few areas under repair but nothing too bad.
It's very tree lined which can be tough if you've got a big slice in your game like myself.
Enjoyed the round and would be happy to return again at some point.

Lovely hotel & spa. Room was seriously good & comfortable. Staff all friendly. Loved our stay. Food OK, but the chef must love mustard, would definitely stay again, but room only next time. Breakfast a little underwhelming tbh. Cheap orange 🍊 juice, served to you, but not very hot & very limited on choice regarding the extra bits you usually expect from a hotel breakfast- fruit 🍉 etc.
such a shame , as one of the best rooms we have stayed in, hence the 4 stars.

Beautiful scenery with a hotel situated and few drive to the town centre.
The atmosphere and air is very relaxing.
A nice place to get into the golf course.

Nothing special and far too many blind tee shots for me!!! Condition of the course was good and the greens were well kept. Wouldn’t rush to play again if I’m being totally honest.

We stayed at this hotel the beginning of December. I can’t comment on the other rooms but the room I had was tired, dirty and shabby. The bedside lamp had no legs for it to sit so it balanced precariously on the cable in the centre.
Don’t think we’ll be staying here again.
