Stonelees Golf Centre

Nice selection in American Golf store at some very good prices but defiantly doesn’t seem as inviting and friendly to a new golfer that doesn’t fit the stereotype of the golfer as some other golf centres in the area.

Had a double birthday party in the function room - fantastic evening with super food (thankyou chef Anthony) and lovely staff. Really nice room overlooking the golf course, perfect atmosphere.
Some of us camped there overnight at Stonelees and then had scrumptious breakfast in clubhouse, including vegetarian and traditional English
menu.
Would recommend Stonelees for weddings or wakes. Not as expensive as some other less charming venues.
The golf’s pretty good too!

We were running a multi-sports tournament, and Stonelees kindly hosted our golf event on their 'Heights' course. It's our 2nd year there now, the course is always in great condition, and after being treated so well by Suzanne and her staff, we won't be going anywhere else. We will definitely be returning next year for our event! And I'll be returning myself for a few rounds before then. Thanks Stonelees!

Good value, 3 courses enjoyable for beginners upwards. Could really do with fixing the net back up between the driving range and the 9th tee of the Executive course and the 1st hole of the Heights course, though. It’s worrying when you see range balls all over the course when you’re trying to play a shot. Someone’s going to get hurt.

Great place for golf. All very friendly and good staff who look after you. Plenty to eat if you want it from breakfast to lunch and anything else. All cooked fresh and straight to your plate. Sunday roasts should be had. If the weather is bad you can use the range or go in the simulator which is noe back in action.

We love this place! Staff and other players are friendly and polite, reasonable rates and plenty of variety. We only play once/twice a week so it's perfect for our needs. Played this morning on the Executive Course and the course itself was in its usual excellent condition. Greens were perfect. Only issue we have is that the tees on the mats on some holes are in need of replacement/repair for the left handed player but other than that, no complaints 😁

James Prophet is an absolute legend. Ive improved greatly over a short period of time and can see significant improvement every session. Highly recommend for beginners, intermediate golfers and experts alike. Thank you James I hope to see you again soon. Golf Course is clean, well taken care of and they pour a bloody good pint of Guinness at the bar.

An absolutely wonderful time on the driving range and then onto the Executive Course. I went round in 61 and lost two balls, but the smile never left my face. Then it was off to the club house for a slap up meal. I highly recommend the sausages, eggs, chips and beans. The staff are pretty cool and very helpful. Looking forward to next week. Keep up the great work 👌👍
