I had a 4 nights emergency stay on the Bostonion oncology ward. Is it difficult to describe how marvellous this place is.The Facilities are just amazing each patient has a Private room, it’s own bathroom with patio doors and a garden to look over or sit in .The nursing and medical care was remarkable as were ancillary staff. Excellent care thank you.

I cannot give any stars. We are waiting for a call from a 75 year old neighbour who has been in your hospital since 5.30 this evening to be seen. She had a really bad leg, sent to you by her gp, has had bloods taken and chest X-ray and at this moment no one has asked her about her leg!!!! It’s now 11.30 pm and we are no closer to knowing what the heck is going on…we cannot go to bed because we will have to pick her up. Shocking….

Absolutely amazing labour ward!! my contractions were 2-3 minutes apart and Lincoln told me they had no beds so had my dad drive me 45 minutes to pilgrim and I couldn’t thank the midwives enough! helped me deliver safely, made sure I didn’t tear and made my experience as pain free as possible, breathed through contractions with me and nothing was ever too much, can’t thank Sian Hughes and the student midwife enough,
INCREDIBLE!! x

Recently had a planned section at pilgrim hospital and the care I received from all of the staff from ante natal, theatre and maternity departments was second to none. A much more positive experience than my first birth at a different hospital, and I can’t thank the staff enough.

My Grandad is currently in this hospital for a GI bleed and they seem more focused on making their own rules for his medication directions, changing medications when he has specialists for these and not treating what he came in for. And not to mention how DISGUSTING these nurses and staff treat patients. If you want to reach the head nurse or doctor- FORGET IT! He’s had his Parkinson’s medications changed with NO orders from his Parkinson doctor! He’s not the same person as he was going in this place! As a nurse in AMERICA, THIS HOSPITAL IS A DISGRACE. I Don’t recommend sending your loved ones here. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

I can not thank the doctors and nurses here at A&E they where absolutely fantastic in my opinion they should be the highest paid workers not ambulance drivers post men or train drivers.also I think all ambulance technicians should be sack they treat you like a piece of meat cus they are not qualified.the way they treated my partner was shocking.

My husband was admitted through A&E and transferred to the Bostonian. Yes was a bit of a wait but staff were very good. The staff on the Bostonian were excellent, despite being very busy, they did everything they could to sort out his problems. They treated him with care, respect from the auxiliary staff to nurses and Drs

Car park is absolutely appalling pot holes don’t come close to describing the cratered surface of this abomination. They then have the cheek to charge you for the privilege of having to dodge the gaping chasms!
