I'd heard some terrible accounts from people who had the misfortune of dealing with CAFCASS and my experience has been the same unfortunately. They have made it so that I am further away than ever from seeing my child again.
Extremely bias and ill trained to deal with issues. I shudder to think how many other children have had to suffer due their incompetence and ignorance

Absolute diabolical service. They've left my children with their abusive father and told me the only way I get to spend 2 extra days a fortnight with them is if I stay living on the same street as their father, a man who abused not only me but my young son as well. They didn't listen to any concerns that I raised yet they believed everything he said. Their section 7 report was subjective and bias to his side.
This is a system that should not be trusted. I wish more people would stand up to these people who believe the know our lives better than what we do. They sit there with their note pads telling us about our lives within a 20 minute interview. It's a bloody joke and they should be ashamed of them selves.
