We love our deliveries from the Veg Patch! Fresh fruit and veg, store cupboard essentials, all the lovely things you'd find in the Veg Patch shop - all delivered to your door by their friendly staff. Ooooh, and the sweet treats are DELICIOUS (and naughty). Thanks for being awesome in these very challenging times 😍 🍎🍅 🧁

The Veg Patch is a fabulous independent vegetable and organic food shop at the best of times. My wife and I have shopped here since we moved to the area. They have stepped up and provided an amazing lockdown service delivering to us every Tuesday. It's become the best day of the week. Thank you to Eliane and the team

Stopped in today whilst in St Davids. Woman behind the counter was extraordinarily rude.

I asked for two Pan Au Chocolat (very politely) and she didn’t acknowledge me.
I wasn’t sure if she had misheard me and didn’t know what to do, so I waited. She continued to ignore me, but several minutes later wrote “2 x Pan au choc” on a notepad (although why, I am unsure, as it was all we had ordered and there were only 4 pan au chocolat and 2 croissants out) before proceeding to bag them.

Very strange encounter. Suggest that in future, acknowledgment of customers would be a great start to serving them.

Despite this, said pan au chocolat were delightful!

Edit: Please note, St Davids was indeed very busy on the day I visited, and I fully accept that I was also very unhappy with the service in the pasty shop and the cost of the “donation” to visit the Cathedral. However, there was no one else in the shop at the time that we visited. Perhaps they get online orders that the woman was fulfilling, and that’s why we had to wait? Nevertheless, even in the response it has been acknowledged that we were probably ignored. I work in hospitality and personally would of said “be with you in a moment.” Especially since there was no one else around, and it wasn’t immediately clear why we weren’t being spoken to.
