I adopted a retired greyhound a year ago. I had never even seen a race before ever. So, went on a Wednesday evening.Very welcoming, all the staff in the building and the kennel workers who I saw all very pleasant and chatty and friendly . Food was very good and very well priced. Amazing to stand right next to the final straight of the track to see just how fast these dogs run. Good evening out all round.

Had a fantastic day here today with the family. It was free entry on Wednesday morning so that's a real bonus to start with. The carpark is quite spacious with several disabled parking spaces provided.
Upon entering you are greeted warmly by the very polite staff and offered as much or little assistance as you require. It had a very friendly atmosphere and is without doubt kid friendly. You can sit inside at a table with a comfortable chair or outside at trackside with a good offering of seats or standing room. It is setup for either a seasoned pro or like us, a bunch of wet behind the ear amateurs! If you unsure of the betting process it will be kindly explained for you.
You can download the race card with all thr times and dogs running along with a brief race history free of charge beforehand on their website or grab a physical copy inside. Simple and easy example is if you like the look or on our case, the name of the dog you can bet as little a £1 for either a win or 50p each way (comes in 1st or 2nd) then ut makes it a tad better but not pricey too.

All the staff seemed very polite and friendly and extremely professional throughout. The only not so friendly one was the bloke who was on the tractor leveling the sabd who when my boys waved just fave a disgruntled glare back. Maybe he just sees his job going round and round....

That aside we all had a fantastic day, the food is a tad pricey for what it is however it was very tasty.
Yes it's clear from the outset it's more than a tad run down and could use a large cash injection to spruce it up but it's not dilapidated nor derelict. The mens loos were clean but needs new flooring and a good lick of paint. Do you need a load of money to come here, no. Is it a great place to come as a group, couple or family yes. It's great for all ages but remember it's over 18s only to place a bet but you can take one up as a representative for the little ones.

This really us a great place, handy location and only lost a star due to the slight scruffy feel to it. Very highly recommended though and looking for to visiting again soon.

Night out was a charity event raising money for Breast Cancer. Bought a ticket £20 which gave you a meal, a bet, a drink, entry and a race card. Some of that cost went to the charity. Very busy, was told to give your menu choice to the bar with ur table number on.
1st issue there were no tables so couldn't put a table number down. See empty tables with stuff on but people not sitting at them.

Whilst at the bar which was also very busy on 2 bar staff. We finally found a table, went to put our menu in to be told no more food. 😔
After challenging this with the kitchen, our menu was then taken around 18.40ish. We didn't our meal till almost 21.00 close towards last race.

Apart from the stadium not being prepared for the large amount of people, it was a good night. Just make sure you eat before you go or get there mega early to get a seat 😊

Thank you Harlow Greyhound Stadium! We had a great morning and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. So lovely to see the dogs as these stadiums are scarce these days. A great family run business, we will be back for sure!

How any one in there right mind as a bet at this flapping track it’s mind boggling. Hav you ever seen a grader winnin at 22 to 1 it as at Harlow knock the place down and build home. I ask my self how did it get a bags contract. Dirty crooked place. It’s the pits. If any dog is 6 to 4 or under its health warning are there any straight. Races there. BE told it’s crooked it run for there pockets not Your
