ALDI

Went to Syston Aldi as we were in the area and it has had an extensive upgrade. Larger car park and spacious aisles in the store. There is also the opportunity for self check out, for those with only a few items.
Overall, extremely impressed 👏

Lovely and cool in this hot weather made shopping a pleasure. Got everything I needed and checkout staff very friendly and helpful. A pleasant experience as I usually dislike shopping

Hugely improved by the makeover.
Larger, better/more/more interesting stock. Just nicer than the previous slightly grubby feel.
Nice to see self-service checkouts too.

All local Aldi stores and especially the Syston store is amazing. Wide aisles, easy parking. Syston is an easy store to shop at and Aldi are my favourite anyway.
My mother (93) lost her ring whilst shopping yesterday. The staff were alerted and one young lad found it during the restocking clean up last night. We had a phone call this morning and mum and her ring are now reunited.
Aldi. You are and always will be my supermarket of choice.

A very nice store a lovely job they have made of the refurbished ot the store

Since refurbishment the store is a great one to shop at. Produce kept fresh and cool behind doors is very good but still leaves accessibility issues with reach, narrow entrances and unlabelled fire escapes, detrimental to comments made on planning permissions.

I never used to like shopping in Aldi however this store has been completly rebuilt, it is a little bigger and seems a lot more spacious. The car park is also bigger making it far easier to park. As before the choice of products varies in number and quality and most of the 'staples' are the same as the competitors. Other products particularly their own brand products are much cheaper, though the quality varies. I have tried only a few so far but several have become my favorites and are, in my opinion, better than I used to get in Sainsburys at a much higher price. It all comes down to taste of course.
One other feature of this new store are the self service tills, I used to hate the huge checkout queues and the rushed experience when it is finally your time! Now I use these self service tills, no rush, no queues and a friendly helpful member of staff when it all goes wrong!!!

Nice big store,accessible to wheel chairs or push chairs,its large inside very clean and well stocked staff are friendly and helpful
