Central Co-op Food - Quorn

The Co-op's pain au raisin, croissant and pain au chocolat are about as good as some you can get in France - that's very good ;) Parking is usually no problem - there's some across the road too - though the disabled bays are often taken up by blind drivers.

Standard coop team nice. Bit XXXy I'm comparison to the one in Rothley.

I have always preferred shopping in my local Co-op to the large supermarkets. I love the food range and always receive friendly service. Bought some great primroses for the garden really brightened it up.

Was told to not touch something ‘unless i can afford it’ a cheap flower this was. This was at 9am in the morning. Maybe could of sold a product if the server wasn’t so rude!

Everyone knows of the rising costs affecting everything. However why is it only the Co op that's charging ridiculous prices for Milk, Margarine etc ? Heinz salad cream £3.10 yet Tesco £2.00 Waitrose £2.50. More expensive than Waitrose . 😡

Awful experience. The older man working here STEVE was the rudest worker I’ve ever come across. Me and my friend were paying for our goods and he told us that we needed to grow up! This was completely uncalled for as we had done nothing wrong. So incredibly rude

I needed to get some butter this morning on the way to work, I arrived there at 07:00 when it was supposed to open, it didn’t open until 07:05 and then rather than serving us the guy spent ages taking things like baskets and signs outside. He then needed to put all the cash boxes into the tills.

There was one guy in front of me who eventually got served, unfortunately he asked for tobacco products, the guy who was serving then left for a few minutes, it was clear that he couldn’t find the key for the tobacco cabinet.

A lady then went onto another till but rather than serving me who was second in the queue, she served the guy who was third in the queue, this customer then slapped loads of change onto the counter and started to count it out very slowly, it was clear that it would take her ages to serve him, she had looked straight at me so she knew I was next.

The guy on the first till still couldn’t get the cabinet open, I was in a rush trying to get to work on time so I had to just put the butter back and leave.

I don’t understand why the store is advertised to open at 07:00 when clearly this isn’t the case.

Both members of staff seemed totally incompetent! I’ll not be rushing back.
