I got to the checkout today only to realise that I couldn’t find my purse. Saturday just got a whole lot worse for me. Kristian ,the checkout operator was very good at letting me go to check in the car, he even put my things in the chiller and suspended the sale. When I had checked the car park and had to go back in to let him know that I had to cancel the sale he wished me luck.
Panicking all the way home I eventually got in and cancelled my bank card just in case it was used today by someone else.
Within minutes of sitting down the store manager arrived at my door with my purse!
I couldn’t believe it, phew what a relief. Kristian had found it in the trolly when he was putting the goods back on the shelves.
Now that’s what I call true customer care.
I can’t face shopping again today but next time I go into Chorley Aldi there will be a box of chocolates as a way of saying Thank you to Kristian. Such a good guy deserves recognition for being so caring.

Average shop with limited variety of goods, lots of lost leaders hoping that customers buy extras….
Queues are a given and wish scan and go was an option like many of the other competitors in town. A express checkout would be a bonus for those items in the basket that are say 10 or less….
Why should I pay to shop using their trolley for my goods to be ? They should pay me ? So annoying 👎
The outside of the store was filthy with trash all over.
Staff friendly at the checkout.

My first experience of Aldi Chorley, was very good, the shelves are kept re stocked and the special buy items are many and in containers so you can have a look what you would like. Very nice

quality food and produce at great prices. much cheaper than the likes of morrisons. it's smaller than the store at bamebr bridge and always very busy. plenty of own brand offering alongside the major brands. there's some surprisingly good produce within their own brands like crunchy nut cornflakes, sausages and muesli. would highly recommend if you're looking to save money

Visited on Saturday and it might have well have been Christmas (actually, mid November). There was a queue for the car park, queues to get in, and what for?
The ladies on the checkout talked about cheap bottle of rosé flying off the shelves as they laughed about the queues. I didn’t see any of this in people’s trolleys, so couldn’t work out what all the fuss was about.
Came out to see a staff member scribbling down the registration number of a car that had been parked so atrociously that the lady parked next to it couldn’t get into her own car and even if she had, she would have had to reverse through the badly parked car to get out.
I smiled weakly at the stranded car owner as I drove out the car park and decided I wouldn’t be back until things calm down in the new year!!

Good prices although not so good as they used to be. Good parking but too few working tills and too many tightly spaced isles.

Love there cheese and ham toasties. Unfortunately if you don't go early often leads to disappointment 😕. Missing out. Popular please get more supplies.
