Update 20th Nov.
Good prices. Friendly staff.
Queues. When it is busy it can take a long time! They do open tills to help.

Was quiet.

Stock is fine.

There was someone outside asking for money this morning, which is off putting and you don't feel safe.

Really good supermarket where prices are much much lesser than other places.
For tourists, I would recommend this place to pick up chocolates - though collection is not extensive but prices are like at 40% of what you get at other places.
The selection is nice. Don't expect super clean aisles, etc because they are able to offer this kind of prices with the slim workforce they have - so I don't care that much that the racks are not fully stocked but if the product is still inside a large carton, I can pick it.

Finally, the checkout queues could be long but again - an additional 10 mins wait ain't much right!

It's just next to the bus stop so super convenient to pick items and use public transport as well.

Not the nicest shopping experience ever, but well stocked, inexpensive goods and friendly, efficient staff.

Top store where I do most of my shopping for the past thirteen years. Quality food at low prices.

More importantly you don't get treated like a criminal as you do in Lidl. Respectful staff who knows how to speak to customers unlike Lidl.

Yes, it is easy to nit pick but you have to remember why the prices are so low.

Today is the last day for trading before building the new Aldi store.

The display is not well organized, but the price is definitely cheaper than any other supermarkets. They meat section provides huge variety of meat (lamb, beef, chicken, pork, even fish). My most favorite section is the desserts. Lots of option to choose from.

Definitely you would get cheaper products than Tesco, ASDA, Lidl etc. and quality of the products is really good!
Aldi Old Kent Road is quite big and you would find almost all grocery items that you are looking for. They also have some DIY stuffs, limited men’s and women’s wear, trainers, socks, boots etc.
Staffs are lovely and very cooperative.
There is a cycle stand as well where cyclists can lock their bicycles.
Also, they do not have self checkout option (just in case you are looking for that)
Overall, I just love Aldi Old Kent Road and prefer it over any other grocery stores we have in South East London.

Good branch of Aldi as it is right next to the bus stop!
Overall, moderately stocked and you really have to look for stuff as they are there but not apparent!
The only improvement is self checkout tills for people who buy a few items.

They were really careful about social distance and hygiene, but it does not include everything the customers desired.
