This place is a bit hit & miss for me but mostly worth the visit. I find I can't get everything from here but what I do is usually of good value. Make sure you look at the dates, especially on the meat products as some have been the same/next day. Definitely some good savings can be made though

Have everything. Organized. Never too busy. Easy 20 minute walk from the Alexandra hospital, so v useful for personnel relocating for work there. Stock all kinds of food as well as basic bedding and some household, gardening and barbecue equipment

Only negatives are they very often don’t have what you want—-even worse what my wife wants.
And they throw the items to you at the checkout

This particular store had a recent renovation a few months ago to have the new glass doors on the refrigerated foods. The shelves are usually very well stocked (unless you go at peak times the aisle get pretty busy), highly recommend going after 7pm on weekdays when it’s quieter if possible. Good selection of foods (incl. international), and staff are very pleasant. Would love to see the baskets with wheels in the future like in LIDL

Nice here. The people are not constantly in their headsets. The fridges are covered and the produce seems nicer there.

They are best at what they do. Keeping prices down. You can shop with confidence
