Good stock and good prices, very friendly staff, meat products and cheese are always fresh, good store to buy authentic Romanian souvenirs also! This is my go to place for a taste of my childhood.

I used to live quite close by and going in for few bits but then I start using a different store.The few ladies in there are always snappy and since the whole lockdown started NOT ONE of them wore an actual mask.Most of people going in wouldn't wear a mask either and they wouldn't be asked to, every time I mentioned to the lady there, she wasn't bothered because they didn't think a mask would help so they chose not to wear one....I guess she knew better ...against the law.They would also sell cigarettes 'under the table' or whatever is called because I don't think they have a license to do so (and they could pay by cash only for cigarette)prepare to be assaulted by people trying to buy some while you are trying to pay for your items because they would never be told off as the people buying the cigarets are more important than those buying groceries.The place is very dirty, those fridges and meat counters haven't been cleaned in a long time, always flies around them.Also when they start having some 'fresh' cakes ,I was waiting to be served just to see the younger server there just putting some raw chicken wings WITHOUT ANY GLOVES for this guy and NOT WASH HER HANDS after, you could see she was struggling with how sticky her hands were with that dried blood all over it , and when was my turn,I asked for two cakes and she just went to put them in the box,I just couldn't believe my eyes.I really thought it must be a really bad joke!No thank you.This place should be seriously checked by proper inspection, don't think it has more than 1 star hygiene.Same with their restaurant,I only went there twice just to never want to go ever again,I saw they have very bad rating, no surprise there.There are a few better romanian shops around Hounslow East station use those one and forget about this one unless you want cheap tobacco or you are underage and want some beer/cigaretts.
