This shop is run by a husband and wife team, both very friendly and helpful. If you like cooking Indian food, this is the place to go, as they stock ingredients that are not easily found elsewhere. Mrs Atlas (not her surname, but let’s call her that) very kindly came out to the front and told me what I needed for onion bhajis, and gave me her recipe. It’s an Askew Rd institution, run by the same family for 60 years.
