ALDI

It's OK this one, even thought one of the newer aldis it's got missing doors off the fridges as all cold and frozen have doors. Smaller selection of products and oddly laid out not the same as most other aldis. Be quicker than you think at the tills they are even quicker than the normal ninja at scanning and piling your stuff up in this one.

You can’t argue with Aldi, great value for monies, this place is modern and definitely an upgrade compared to the old one in St. James.

What’s with the door entrance and exit,,? They are really fine, oddly you can only enter one at a time, can barley get the trolley through the door,,, and that’s the same for the exit,

Make me feel like I’m walking through airport security… 😳

Thursday evening has to be a time to consider doing your shopping here. The only things that were short was bread and people, and the bread shortage was own brand plenty of branded. Like the store and space to look.

Reasonable well stocked and well presented. Still competitively priced but othe supermarkets are catching up. My most recent visit showed stock levels quite low and specials much less attractive.

I am a massive Aldi fan and customer, having been a happy shopper for many years now. This store let's the customer down.
Popped in today for a few essentials, not a big shop(4 items). Only 2 tills open (Sunday 2.30pm) but till 6 had been advertised as open and 3 customers unloaded and waiting. We joined the queue and someone else behind us. After 3 or 4 minutes with no body arriving and at least 3 visible aldi staff date checking, I shouted out to tills 1 and 2..."till 6 open?". Pleasant chap on till 2 looked over, realised what was going on but couldnt do anything about it not having a headset on. We had a laugh. 2 or 3 minutes later and this was beyond a joke. Another shout, still no-one coming, so we walked out.
Sorry we left our 4 items on the conveyor, we really should have restocked your shelves for you.
Not good enough.

Always clean, always well stocked and the cashiers will slow down a bit if you're having a fumble fingers day. Always a pleasure to shop here

Comparatively low prices compared to other supermarkets. I particularly like their special food items, boxed in black. Ron
