Central Co-op Food - Narborough Road, Leicester

Staff is friendly and helpful. It's a nice good looking shop. Prices aren't inviting, so only come here if I forgot something or really need it.
I should add that very recently security guards tend to follow you around... maybe because there's many secondary school children coming to the shop and they might had problems before, not sure but... I'm a big adult no need to be my shadow, specially when I've been coming to this shop for years.

Hi I'm not happy about a service today.....one lady short black hairs, in her 40-50, tanned , english didn't care at all about queue behind her despite she is the coop employee and doing shopping 2 packs of water and sweet took her 5 min with laughing with co- workers delaying everything despite seeing lots of customers and that took her time to serve me came with sandwich ..not nice ...I'm very upset now ....living close to the shop there are 4 fantastic people what I gave them 5 star rate but she is very annoying and I will be in the shop and I will ask to talk with site manager....I'm manager myself and I'm not accepting that kind of unprofessional behaviour....

Maybe I'm just old fashioned.....but I love the soft uncut bread ,..fresh everyday.as is the jam doughnuts....can't beat the Co op...they aways have a meal... .plenty to choose from....my favourite is the fresh eggs...in the morning....soft boiled with a big cup of hot tea....staff are always happy and helpful.....thank you....

Utterly ashamed of the collection+ service in this store. Ordered an item off eBay to collect in store and was delivered to this store by the courier with tracking. That was two days ago. No collection code received by myself so I went to investigate.

I spoke to Ann (the cashier on duty at the time), who simply said "no code no collection". I politely asked her to check (as it may not have been scanned into the system) and even showed her the evidence item had been delivered, and her response was "if there had been a delivery it would be on the system". Showed her the delivery address on my phone and she had no idea if it was her shop's address. Her mannerism was very rude, and had no people skills.

I am extremely disappointed in the service at this store, they clearly do not want to help customers, and the collection+ service is atrocious. I now have escalate the problem to ebay to resolve, because of some unhelpful cashier who does not even know the address of the shop she is working in.

I've had a terrible experience at this co-op thanks to 2 members of staff who were very rude and kept laughing at me and my friend. We didn't expect this type of behaviour as we just went to get drinks. We encountered a problem, and instead of being nice people, they decided to have an attitude and laugh in our faces and make rude remarks at us behind our backs.

Yea its alright. Staff are class, funny as hell nice people. Gr8 b&tr.

Selection is a bit meh.

Very nice store. Be sure to get there early if you want bakery items as they jump off the shelves quick. Great for daily or top-up weekly shop. Frozen meals available. Only thing missing is my Monster Mule drink. If only you'd add it to the rest of the range which you do stock, that would be great 😉
