Great prices, good queue control, amazing staff.
Absolute respect to Katherine to handled a ridiculous customer who was being incredibly rude to her. Also nice to see the team sticking together and standing up for eachother rather than letting some entitled woman have her own way!

I will list the bad points about this Aldi. Otherwise its good.
Parent parking is often full and not with people and kids, parking today was rammed completely so i diverted to Tesco down the road.
Fresh fruit tends to go bad before its date. Maybe its bashed about during unpacking onto shelves? Maybe other customers shuffling it about. Strawberries, blueberries etc are usually squishy and mouldy within a day or two of buying.
Ive had a whole corn fed chicken go bad before the date on the pack.
A pack of bacon from my last shop was not sealed properly and only found out when i tried to cook it this morning for a fry up and found mould.
The shop is ok but you have to learn what products you can buy and which are safe.
Edit: i returned the bacon and was given a replacement with no hassle and no receipt. Very helpful staff

Has pretty much anything you need at a cheap price so great value , my only wish is that places like this had self checkout when you don't have many items would make the whole process alot quicker

What a joke advertised airfryer on sale today in store before store opened assistant came out of store said no airfryers available, apparently only a few came in and they was reserved. Great ploy from aldi to get shoppers in store!

One of the two 'four letter' German discount supermarkets, this Aldi is a relatively newer cookie cutter design - but not new enough to have had the doors fitted to the the chilled section fridges. It can feel a bit claustrophobic inside (see store design comments below). The store entrance is awkwardly located almost as far away as can be to all of the carpark - except a few disabled and parent/child parking spaces which are where they should be (close to the entrance)... it's just the placement of the shop building on the plot is not optimal. Aldi could learn from its competitors for a better store design... e.g. the far nicer Lidl just down the road - so open, bright and airy.
Great prices, pretty much identical to Lidl's. But Lidl have pretty much the same prices - with a bakery, a loyalty scheme, and a nicer store... so, a go a Lidl bit down the road!

Not as good as it once was. Prices are moving closer to those of the big 4, in some cases overtaking them. A few everyday items are not priced up on the shelves. I asked an assistant if they could find out the price for me, I was told I would find out when I got to the checkout. Needless to say I didn't purchase it and continued up the road to Sainsburys.
