Co-operative Food

I came into this coop while visiting family in the area.
As my relation went to the till she noticed another till being opened and politely asked, are you opening too?
Sadly I couldn't see the till persons name tag as her clothes were so slobby it was hidden, I don't normally take notice of peoples personal appearance but greasy dark balding hair and grubby clothes is not what you expect from coop staff.

This lady BARKED yes I mean barked at my relation " wait your turn there are others in front of you and I WILL serve them first "
Really?
I couldn't believe my ears and stood there steaming but she didn't say it to me...

The person who she served next, said thank you to her and she replied " Yes well its only fair, you can have people pushing in "

I tried very hard to get her name so I could complain direct to coop but failed.

I can't say it was a very nice experience but nor was the overall shopping trip to this coop, it just felt tired, dirty and neglected - Shame.

Great local shop has post office and chemist and a Brantano outlet too.
Always friendly staff and bargains to be had.

Good parking and the store has a post office too. Usual selection of co op goods and groceries but the junctions leading to it can be busy especially at school times. Useful place to stop and shop though.

Great wheelchair access good huge car park with friendly helpful staff and located nearby a factory shop with wheelchair access and a hairdressers

Really good lay out. Bonus of a chemist and a postoffice. Nice feel to the shop good size.

I like lettuce, the lettuce was very nice... exquisite!

Staff always friendly and helpful.

I often go here when the main supermarkets are very busy. Always quieter and easier to shop. Obviously not the stock there that the big chains have, but what they have is decent. Always seems to be a bargain to be had.
