SimplyFresh Hatfield

Saturday 3rd May, thought I get some fresh bread and pain au raisin, BUT, no lights on, nothing in bread/bun area, only one sleepy eyed employee playing with his phone, “ not open” he said.
Nothing surprises me at Simply Fresh - the staff appear untrained and not very interested and rarely the bread is ready for breakfast time. Very disappointing

Refused to print Amazon return label although the website says the store offers this service.

A really good little mini mart. There's a good selection of everyday essentials. The store is well laid out and easy to find what you need. There is a good range of alcohol.

Non-existent customer service! 2 staff nattering to each other behind the counter whilst they had seen people struggling with the Hermes drop off scanner and when asked for help directly, they just took my phone without asking. Terrible Covid secure measures with no hand sanitizer (especially near the touchscreen Hermes scanner), none of the staff wearing face masks and the 'fresh' (I use that term loosely) bakery open to all elements. Wouldn't have gone in if it wasn't for the Hermes drop off.

Great customer service, friendly, very handy for Hermes parcel service, and open till late--what more could you ask for.
