No Elsan disposal point
No separate tap for Elsan units
Nowhere to dispose of rubbish

My Granddaughters 7 & 5 loved this place, as did we! Lots to do! Gorgeous Shetland ponies, the girls walked, brushed & had fun with Harry Trotter & Charlie Brown. Lovely farm shop. Walk a lamb for a small cost. Meet the pigs & Guinea pig's. Play with the diggers. Wonderful staff. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Liked: Basic camping, easy pitch up. Level ground.

Disliked: Lack of basic toilet facility. One toilet which was damaged, sink with broken tap. Expensive for just a field.
Such a shame, this site has loads of potential, all it needs is a good clean toilet, maybe even two?
Have a feeling the site might also be used for holding car boot sales, but not sure.

Went there twice, once on a Sunday afternoon and then on a Thursday lunchtime. Closed on both occasions. On the second occasion I telephoned the number written on the shop door only to be told the shop wouldn't open until the next day. It would be helpful if a sign saying ope or closed was placed at the entrance or a list of opening times made available.

Liked: As this was a new site it was very quiet was only 2 tents there so it was super peaceful..
It's a very wild camping experience with a portaloo and a water tap...
But we enjoyed it. We added a fire pit ... beautiful sunset view through the trees , very open sky space to star gaze while roasting mallows over a fire..

Friendly owner, nice flat ground ...

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our first camping trip with our three year old son and lurcher. The field is huge and we could pick wherever we wanted to pitch up. There is a portaloo and water tap to use. Farm shop opposite the entrance to the field and it was 2 mins from the A48. We had such a good time we’re looking to get better camping gear and go again as you’re just a stone’s throw away from many beautiful points of interest and places to explore. Also, thank you Farmer Mike for saving the day when our car battery died. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Liked: Very quiet site, we were one of the first guests to book so word hasn't got out there yet! Great space for my 4 year old to run around, Very basic facilities but was fine for one night, handy location for Cowbridge and surrounding areas, helpful host - he has plans for further improvements
