ALDI

Been using Aldis for sometime now but have to say the quality and lack of vegetables today was poor. No bananas, Cauliflower browning and cabbage in poor condition.
The whole state of the store today was poor, maybe it's under staffed but it certainly wasn't inviting as a place to shop. Have to say it's not normally this bad but need to up your game if you want to keep customers. It's not all about price !!!

Came here tonight 2/09/22 at 8:25pm to get some things and the store was empty apart from a few families coughing and dying everywhere in the aisles with no consideration for other people, fruit and veg, frozen items was almost bare so I had to make do with what things were available to buy instead and then I get to the till at 8:35pm I didnt see that the till closest to the exit was closing there was no sign or barrier over it to say as such so I was redirected by a blunt staff member- large woman with red hair and glasses to the other till "this till is closed now over there please" told me and bloke infront to go to the next till the way she said it was too straightforward and blunt for my liking and there was no reason why it was shut so if I had gone any earlier in the night say teatime it would have been rammed and most probably queues would build up like they do at peak times in the day in these type of supermarkets
Got to the other till the only one that was open and the older woman with black hair and glasses had a bit of an attitude on her too asked me if I was paying cash or card and I had told her cash once and then had to repeat myself albeit a bit louder "cash please" she sounded like she was in a huff and just wanted to go home lack of friendly staff and customer service in the evenings was disappointing on my visit today
I usually come to this store once a week in the daytime if in the area as this one and spytty shop strategically placed out of the way at 2 different sides of the city making both stores impossible/far/inconvenient for non drivers to get to (newport buses aren't reliable and always late, smelly, crammed so I dont want anyone telling me to catch a bus on my next trip)
Never had a problem with the staff in the day as the young girls on the till are nice and speak to customers in a kind manner, the stock is plentiful and they are more helpful than the spytty store but after my late night shop tonight my opnion might change if I have bluntness again..people are better off shopping here in the day than night (not to mention its a lot safer!)

One of the best Aldi stores. Fast service and most of the essential products are available. Typical Aldi standards with high standard products and very reasonably priced. I haven't been there before so, I will update my review when I visit it more frequently.

Busy, but stocks most of what we want, but at Aldi prices. Just been again at 09.30am, place was fairly empty, so a good time to shop.

Nice and affordable place to shop. The store is clean with lovely staff and good pricing. A bit small so I don’t always get all I needed. Great store though…

The Aldi staff are always great and I've never had any issues.

Not good quality as compared to Lidl and Asda. Inspect their meat (specifically chicken) before buying because it may contain bad parts that will spoil meat more quickly.

Great prices. I believe the cheapest on the market. nice central location. wonderful variety of ecological and organic products and the miscellaneous aisle always has a interesting bargain you never knew you needed until you find it there. If they had a loyalty card system and delivery options then I wouldn't be able to find an issue.
