City Centre Guest House - Gloucester Park

Well wow is all I can say what a amazing guest house the owner welcomed us and our little traveling companion yes they even welcomed our dog and any where that do that with any dog too that is as good for me as a sunset after a storm. Really clean beautifully restored and designed go spend a night or two.

Excellent basic accommodation, very clean, has everything you need, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron. Comfortable bed, en suite. The owners are lovely, very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

DO NOT BOOK AVOID. I booked this yesterday 6/5/22 around 8pm ready for today this morning 7am ready for after my night shift. I have added in notes on my booking I need just for the day and will leave in evening time around 6pm just to recover for my night shift. I have booked twice previous and they accepted my request and they left the keys on notice board in entrance. This time they ignored every call I tried to call after my
Booking they purposely left phone on to say they are always busy so I can’t call and fulfil my request. After they had the cheek to say there is a £64 cancellation fee which my booking cost £68. Your better off putting a little extra money in and getting someone elsewhere. VERY DISSAPPOINTED I RATE THIS 1 star. Avoid unless you want to waste £64 and not get this refunded.

Jens, the owner, is very helpful and courteous! If you are looking for luxury, keep looking, this isn't for you! But if you want a clean, tidy, room with all the necessary facilities for a short stay or business trip it's ideal! Reasonably priced for a city centre hotel, the rooms are well kept, there was a good sized shower/ toilet, plus a wash basin, a double bed, towels supplied, Tv, use of an Ironing board & iron, plus 24hr FREE continental breakfast room, plus tea/coffee facilities in the room!

Easy to find, in a nice safe area close to the park and a short walk to the Quays and city centre. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a very good self-service breakfast with lots of choice.

Good clean facilities, flexible self-service approach. Good shower, clean bedding, emergency breakfast provision. Not fancy, but good, functional and competitively priced. Would stay again.

The Guest House was warm, welcoming, dog friendly, and had a relaxed atmosphere. My ensuite room was clean and a good size and the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again

Spacious warm ensuite room which was all clean along with clean bedding and towels. Parking was available and within walking distance of shopping and food etc. I'd recommend this guest house.
