Stansted Lodge

Adorable small room, I had the n. 1 with the shower.. particular, but very well received. It was fun, comfortable and useful. Everything was clean, nice scents in room, hall, toilet, kitchen.. impressed. In room I had kettle with amenities like tea and hot chocolate, loved it. With taxi is a 10 min drive and they were extremely on time.

5 stars not because it's a 5 star hotel but because it was everything I expected - and more. Reasonably priced for a basic room for an overnight stay. Lots of parking. No in house catering but a large kitchen area with fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities and a Tesco Metro 2 minutes walk away. We bought breakfast and milk the day before so ate well before we left. They give you a code to access the front door key and once inside, easy access to your room key. Very clean. Couldn't fault it for what it was and we also had some home made cakes waiting for us on arrival!

It was a cheap way to stay close to Stanstead. Clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Towels not v fluffy. Sheets on bed, no duvet. Easy check in procedure. Would stay again.

Lovely owner who makes you feel at home, very comfy bed nice rooms, and great price! Recommend 10/10

Brilliant service, cosy and clean. If only I didn't have to wake up at 3:30..

Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean with lots of nice touches - a bag of sweet treats, endless tea and coffees, tables and chairs outside, smoking shelter, shampoo and soap . . . Bed was firm and comfortable and there was virtually no noise from the road. Not necessarily the height of luxury but we weren't paying 5 star prices so you wouldn't expect it. We would definitely stay again.

Booked in the last minute, the host went over their way to accomodate us, they were extremely nice and hospitable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A very pleasant experience.
