Very happy. one night stay mid July 16. House and room immaculate. Room airy with tall ceilings and sash windows so much better than hotel rooms . Comfortable bed . Off private road and so quiet. No sign on road nor house and behind large electric gates, but post code will get you to the house. Definitely recommend

This property is a true gem! You basically stay on estate surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Frances, the host, is very personal, friendly, welcoming and makes sure your stay is memorable. We walked around, had dinner at the patio and enjoyed made-to-order breakfasts. Excellent location in quiet and peaceful surrounding. This is a luxury retreat, comfy bed, soft towels, plenty of space for closet and in the room. We had beautiful patio with plants and chair setup to watch sunrise or have an afternoon tea. Plenty of parking on secured ground. Brilliant stay, if you are around Oxford, this place is your best option.

Will definitely stay again at Sherwood Guest House. Beautiful house in a very quiet location. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very spacious. Breakfast was great. There was a choice and it was cooked freshly for us. I am a celiac and I was catered for with no problem.

Absolutely fabulous experience. We went for a quiet weekend escape and our expectations were greatly surpassed. Our room was superb, very clean. Frances is very pleasant and friendly & makes a very yummy breakfast with loads of choices. Better stay than most hotels. We saw deer and heard owls in the back garden. Highly recommend!
