Friendly and warm staff. Good location to various good places to visit. WiFi iffy. Cleaning of washroom and making up of bed shoddy. Sharp nail under the bed that I caught accidentally and cut my toe. Adequate if all you want it is a place to shack upto sleep. TV services also not good in my room with lots of disruption and pixels..

A nice homely vibe, friendly hosts. The lamb shank was to die for, the best by far and the breakfast was great. Awesome stopover and not disappointed.

Very nice compact rooms, a good shower and comfortable bed. Meals seemed very basic, and not that appetising.

Travel for work quite a lot. Always look for price, location and reviews. The Grove House ticked all my boxes. Then I want a decent room with nice bed and good shower. Again all good. Located on side of fairly busy road but didn't hear a thing. Owners/staff, lovely people. Away from hustle and bustle but a little too quiet. I always ask myself, would I use again. A definite yes but would like more to do as a little "out there" Thank you to my hosts!

Breakfast was poor egg like rubber. Bacon OK. Bar closed before 10pm maid was excellent even we though we asked not clean. Sorry I would have given a £20 tip if I was given a night cap.

Delightful B&B . Immaculate throughout. We made a late in the day booking, were warmly welcomed. Ground floor room with large bathroom and walk in shower. Nice home cooked dinner. Superb breakfast and very economically priced.

Excellent small hotel on A12. Spotlessly clean. Very good breakfast. Just what we needed last night.

Lovely warm welcome, check in fast . Room very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, portions generous. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
