The location is the best thing about this place, the room is nothing like the pictures. We stayed in the yellow room on the 2nd floor. The room was uninviting with brown mould spots in the room and bathroom.
Probably hand soap in the shampoo/shower gel dispensers. No service, friendly welcome or flexibility. You might not even get hold of them on their phone no.

Skip this horror. There was blood on the bedsheets. Even a change of sheets will not work as the mattress was stained. There was no available room to change to and i booked a different hotel.

I am now charged as no show for full 4 days. This is unacceptable but i have no recourse against this terrible .

Please skip yourself the trouble. There are better hotels in Oxford.

The Tower House is in an excellent location, right in the centre of the city. The building is very old and quirky. The front doorstep is very high so not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We had a lovely room on the ground floor. There is no breakfast here but there is a kettle in the room with tea, coffee and chocolate plus there are plenty of eateries nearby.
We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Oxford.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here- perfect location-walking distance to everything we wanted to see.
Only downside was a communal bathroom but never met another person so it was fine in this case. Shower cubicle is a good size but shower head right in the middle so hard to use.
Incredibly hot, as it is everywhere, and being at the top if the building( the pink room) it was even hotter. Fan was provided but duvet and pillows were so incredibly thick they were suffocating.
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and sugar provided. Big TV with Netflix.
Key to front door and room door so you can come and go as you please.

The best thing about this is the location, it's fantastic. The actual room however (stayed in the yellow room) is not at all what you see on the pictures; not well maintained, very hot, not the cleanest shower, and clogged at that.
The location is lovely, but i'll go for a hotel next time.

The room was a little small and included a tv and a small corner with a sink. The shared bathroom’s sanitary standards were better than expected. What made up for the fourth star was the fact that it was in a central area, pretty easy to get to all the famous spots. The receptionist was pretty nice.(we got some galaxy hot chocolate too hee hee)

Shower had no hot water. Messaged the owner about it and no reply. There were no staff onsite between 11pm and 9am, when we used the shower. Emails to them asking for a refund have gone unanswered. I would advise against staying here, its not a safe place as its unmanned and I've heard stories of people being locked out of their rooms overnight. And there's no hot water! Very unprofessional of them not to even bother replying at all.

We stayed at the Tower House Hotel for two nights. The hotel is located at a very central location, a few minutes walk from Oxford historical area and the high Street. We booked the double room with a bath which was large and comfortable but didn't have a showerhead, so we could take a bath but not a shower..
Overall we had a positive experience, just make sure you book a different room
