We were four wet, cold and pretty exhausted travellers after scrambling up Tryfan. We arrived in Beddgelert on New Years Eve, hoping for a place to stay. After several 'no room at the Inn's' we came across Glaslyn Gallery and Coach House, and Regan answered the door and said that they were shut, as his wife was ill, but seeing the desperate looks on our faces offered us a couple of rooms as a last resort. We gratefully accepted, and within an hour had two big, lovely, soft, warm, dry, comfortable, luxurious rooms for the night. He even got us fresh milk to have with our tea!

Considering our late notice and the fact that they were shut, and it was New Years Eve, we were overwhelmed by their kindness and generosity. We all really felt they went out of their way to help four tired travellers out in our hour of need!

We had a FANTASTIC New Years Eve dancing on the bridge with locals, and watching the fireworks. What a perfect way to end 2012 and begin 2013.

We would very much recommend a stay here.

Thank you again! Happy New year to all at Glaslyn Gallery and Coach House, and all the best for 2013.

Lovely welcome from our host into a room with a postcard view. We were a bit surprised by the breakfast arrangement at first as it is self service but we found it really convenient and perfect for out needs as we had brought a bag of fruit with us, anyway.
Excellent, clean and spacious room which was serviced daily. Modern and well appointed en suite with the communal kitchen and sitting area adjoining ...and the view, did I mention the view?
Looking forwards to returning in the Summer with friends.

Very friendly and really helpful clean establishment. The coachhouse is literally in the centre of the village.Reagan was the most accommodating host, allowing us the check in very late due to ferry times. He was literally the only one who understand drama of late ferry, travelling with baby and parent meltdowns!! Breakfast is continental and pretty good. Stunning views and easy to walk to local shop, ice cream parlours or pub!!!

A brilliant place to stop. Clean, refurbished rooms. A kind of do-it-yourself breakfast but with a huge amount of stuff provided. Far better value than the hotels. Helpful owner.

Serves tea, coffee and cake from their “The Real Coffee Shop” cafe so stopped in for refreshments. Really enjoyed our cake and drinks, with fantastic coffee and scrumptious carrot cake. Many thanks to the friendly proprietor for her warm welcome and great service!

Great place to stay right in the heart of Snowdonia in beautiful Bedgelert. Well located for easy walking around the quaint town, some nice eateries and shops plus of course Bedgelert's grave. There are just 5 rooms in this hotel, with breakfast in your room included (fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and porridge with fresh milk and Welsh cakes). Plentiful supply of tea and coffees in the room too. Good shower. Friendly service from the owners and great comms beforehand including a list of eateries that I strongly recommend booking given the size of the town and how busy it gets in season. Parking on the road outside the hotel is easy in October when we were there when restrictions are lifted, but I can imagine it being a bit of a challenge in summer.

Most welcome after a wet days walk from Llanberis. Contemporary style with continental breakfast so you can leave as early or as late as you need.
