Beautiful house spotlessly clean. Friendly owner and fantastic breakfast. Great sun lounge. Free wifi in the room. Gorgeous gardens. Pubs in walking distance for supper but one not open on Monday and Tuesday for food.

We were staying in the Loft. Separate from the main house but a warm and cosy space with plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and the lounge/kitchen area had a TV, microwave, fridge, full cooker, sink, full worksurface, comfy sofa and armchair with lots of kitchen equipment. The owner was very friendly and welcoming with milk already in the fridge and some Welsh cakes on the table when we arrived. Breakfast had a good selection of cereal, fruit and a 'full Welsh breakfast', thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back if visiting the area again.

Lovely! We stayed at the loft which is the self catering unit. If you are looking for the sterile chain hotel experience, thos is not for you. If you like the individuality and character of independent hotels and B&Bs, them this is the place. Great breakfast, good atmosphere and comfortable. Also, the grounds of the house are just beautiful.

I recently visited Llangorse to participate in CIEEM's beaver workshop. The owners of this Bed & Breakfast were extremely kind to me, and helped me whenever they could. The accomodation and breakfasts were also brilliant. All of these little things made my stay in this scene Welsh village so much more enjoyable.

I could not recommends it more.

This is a review for The Log Cabin, the latest (self-catering) addition to Anne's B&B / self-catering haven in lovely Llangors. The location, by the way, is ideal for hill walks, and not far from the delightful shopping town of Brecon.

The Log Cabin (new in May 2021) is very thoughtfully kitted out, with an electric cooker, good well-sprung mattress, thoughtful lighting and all you'd expect (gorgeous sink design in the en-suite). Even the freezer compartment in the very decent fridge is generously proportioned (be careful not to accidentally turn the control dial down like I did!).

Outside is a great bit of decking including table, chairs and barbecue. To the side of The Log Cabin is a duck pond, and I got to see mother leading her ten or so ducklings into the water. The beautifully kept garden is really large, with several benches and semi-hidden areas, and guests have unlimited access to all of it.

The small touches are excellent: two small bottles of wine, cookies, plus warm Welsh cakes provided halfway through my stay.

If you are coming in winter, let me say that at present heating options seem limited to one blower heater, but after all I did visit in June and Anne has experience (the Loft next door) of keeping self-catering places warm.

Anne is an efficient and friendly on-site hostess who will leave you alone or engage your queries/conversation according to your wishes.

Thoroughly recommended, and excellent value too.

An absolutely delightful stay. Ann (Host), looked after myself and my sister (Zeeneh) with A***** service. The room was spotless, with the necessary facilities for a comfortable stress-free stay. Continental breakfast option available and open buffet for a fresh and filling start to your day. The hotel is wonderfully kept with scenic surroundings and a beautiful seating area (orangery) for a restful evening surrounded by mountains and wonderful greenery.

Highly recommended - would love to stay here again when revisit to Wales.

Great place and had lovely 3 peaceful nights in the tranquil green surroundings. The only problem is that you need your own transport since this area lacks public transport and the nearest taxi service is about 5 miles away. Secondly, there are 2 pubs within walking distance but it is advisable to book them far in advance. I would recommend the Red Lion pub since the Landlady was more understanding and fitted us in even though it was busy. We enjoyed horse riding, mountain climbing and boating in the beautiful Llangorse lake. The breakfast provided was fresh and tasty . Lastly, the owner is very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Would highly recommend this place.
