Just returned home 1 day early from holiday in SONIA the boat, which is part of the B&B. This is advertised by various letting agents. Worst holiday of our lives, The pictures on letting site looked amazing hence really looking forward to our trip. We could not believe the state of the boat and converted barn when we arrived. Both have been left to rot after their renovation in 2012. See the pictures I have posted and you will understand. After 2 night's we had to sleep in the barn which turned out to be no better. Both were damp and moldy. We had to buy air fresheners which made no difference to the smell. As we are keen walkers we stayed out for most of the day and dreaded returning back, the beautiful countryside is what saved our holiday. Too many other things to mention here but avoid this place like the plague, perhaps that's what the smell was.

Well I've stayed here a few times and it was perfect, so perfect I made a friend out of it and have travelled 340 miles every year since just to see Amanda & family to say hello.....
The House boasts of different charactered rooms to suit a variety of people.
Additionally, outbuildings & a boat as previously mentioned by other customers.....A lovely place to stay with and educated and lovely owner who can cook a lovely breakfast.
For those who didnt like their stay, it just wasnt for you, your negative reviews reflect that.

We had an excellent stay for 5 days. Mandy is lovely and very kind and thoughtful. We stayed in the boat, took a tent for the kids and used one room in the farmhouse which worked great. Visited 4 local beaches, location of the property is great, rural and rustic, full of charm and history. The same is true of Mandy! She is a talented musician and provided a private gig to us before we headed off! Guy, Angelica, Josh and Ewan xx

Having been here many times, its the secluded quiet setting i personally enjoy being in, the family guesthouse is an amazing retreat with stunning views and a lovely well educated & talented host. (See for yourself)

There are different kinds of accommodation ranging from a boat (on land) to a barn and other styles of comfort to one of the rooms within the guesthouse.

We have stayed at many B&Bs in the UK over the years. Despite the great location and nice town (wonderful pub), this was the worst B&B we ever have stayed at. The room under the eaves was totally unsatisfactory for our friends who had to share the hallway bathroom with the host's nephews who were staying across the hall and who smoked outdoors under our window at night. The hostess was occupying one of the suites advertised. Also the cats caused our friend's allergy to take off--the cat presence should be mentioned. The breakfast was well below standard. It seemed that the furniture had not changed for decades. We bailed after two days and stayed at a rooming house in Cardigan which was very nice. If our experience is any indication, don't go here.

We had a wonderful time spending 5 nights in the charming Granary Cottage. This accommodation is very well situated for the coast path and local beaches, and is incredibly quiet with a great view of the sea.

Good location near the Pembrokeshire coast path, if you like surfing there many great beaches with good surf.

Good for country walks and dog friendly.
