SEMS: Guitar & Piano Lessons in Croydon

My daughter Patricia has piano lessons there. We used to have private tutors for 5 years before we started with this school and I am really pleased that the quality of teaching is on high level. Her tutor Billy keeps her motivated, and she is always happy after lesson. He is very systematic and I can easily hear the progress she makes every week. And most important think : she simply enjoys the piano lesson with him. I will definitely continue to use their service and soon my younger daughter will join them.

So far I have been attending lessons here for about eight weeks now. I am learning acoustic guitar with Mike, who is an excellent teacher.
While coming into this with the beginners perspective, I found the lessons to be very constructive and confidence building.
You can learn a lot in a half hour and I tend to enjoy my self set homework to try to master the new things I am being taught.
Mike is very patient and calm which is lovely, a genuinely amiable person who seems to be very at one with the guitar.
The best part is that the lessons are tailored to you, what you want to achieve and how you want to progress, even what you intend as an outcome is taken into account.
I've already raved and recommended lessons at the South End Music School to a few friends- often when I get home from my lessons ecstatic about something I've learned that week.

My son has piano lessons with Billy at South End Music school and has been attending for just over a year. He really loves his lessons and looks forward to them every week. Billy is fantastic with him and they have a great rapport, and we are really pleased with his progress on the piano. I would highly recommend the music school and Billy!

For years I drove by this music school and each time I promised myself I would drop in and sign up for guitar lessons. Earlier this year I actually did and I have not regretted it since. My tutor, Billy, is brilliant; he's patient, supportive and makes learning fun. The rest of the team (Joe and Steve) are just as helpful and willing to advise you according to your needs. I can not recommend this place enough. From helping me to buy my daughter’s 1st guitar to helping her to set it all up and maintain it, the shop and the staff are fantastic. Incredibly helpful and always prepared to answer any questions you have.
My biggest praises are going to the shop manager, Bill Allen. I can’t thank him enough for being my daughter’s guitar tutor. He’s just fantastic, the way he manages to keep my little one focused it’s still a surprise for me😄. We’ve been taking these lessons for a year now and I’m very pleased with the results.

Southend Music School is an excellent place to train both children and adults in music. My child has achieved so much since he started attending tutorials at the school. His Tutor, Cornelius is an excellent teacher, who is also very professional.

My guitar lessons are with Mike Bennett. I have been going there for eight years and my son has been going there for seven years. Not once did Mike cancel the lesson and not once did I have to fight with my son before going to his guitar lesson. I have my lesson in the evening on a week day and my son has it on Sundays. I think there is now no need to say anything else 😁

Corneliu Toma is a very interesting and patient teacher. My daughter has been a teacher for a year. He is good at understanding what children need. His teaching method is very interesting and bold. He will let the children study for a period of time and then try to take the exam. I like his teaching very much. We will continue to let him teach my daughter to play the piano in the future.
