Chris has devoted his life to the art and methodology of teaching the guitar to others. It's not about him and how well he can play or his personal aspirations to be musician. There is no intimidating showing off during lessons - only a sincere desire to be the best teacher he can be. I've always been self-conscious playing in front of others, but Chris creates a safe environment for me to learn and grow as a player.

While I am a dedicated guitar student, work and family come before practice and lessons. Chris has been extremely accommodating in allowing me to take lessons as frequently or infrequently as my life allows. Yet, he always keeps me making progress and never lets me drift away from my commitment to learn and rock n roll.

Chris has proven that you can teach an old dog new tricks (I'm 38!).

I've been trying to teach myself to play guitar for years but could never quite stick with it and Chris has given me the skill set, the structure and the confidence that I desperatly needed.

I'm now on my way to Electric Guitar Grade 2 having achieved a distinction for Grade 1.

And he's a top bloke, too!

After years of not playing, I had a few lessons with Chris and was back playing again in no time. Really patient and explains everything in detail. Would defo recommend for any level from beginner to advanced.

Great teacher and very intuitive. Chris pushes just enough to ensure I make progress. I didn't think I'd get into the music theory as much as I have but he has made it very enjoyable. He's also very flexible and accommodating with lesson times.

Chris has been teaching my 5 year old son for a few months now and he thoroughly enjoys every lesson.
